Are you not getting what you want out of life? Are you having problems with your relationships, family, work? If so, as a seasoned therapist, I would be honored to help you! In our work together, I will give you the very best I have in assisting you with making the optimal choices that are right for you.

My Therapeutic Approach

How might I do that? With my extremely warm and interactive style, I will draw from psychodynamic, family systems and solution- focused therapies to tailor a program uniquely for you. I will provide this with compassion, collaboration and an emphasis on strengths whether you are 18 or an older adult.

My Experience

Over the span of my 30-year-career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide-range of people from diverse backgrounds with a myriad of problems. Not only have I treated people with anxiety and depression, I also have experience in working with people who suffer from low self esteem and lack of confidence. In addition, I have helped many people who have been victims of abuse.

Other people have sought out my services to deal with such struggles as chronic illness, obesity, divorce, navigating the world of dating and needing a place to safely disclose long-held secrets.

Why I Do This Work

To say my career as a therapist has been rewarding, minimizes the true meaning of what it really feels like to help another human being. Each person is truly unique, and when I assist them in discovering their strengths, courage and capacity for change, I feel quite privileged to be part of the process. The resilience of the human spirit never ceases to amaze me.

My Services

Along with providing psychotherapy services, I often utilize Hypnotherapy to help alleviate certain symptoms. It can be used as part of the therapy or as a separate service for such issues as performance anxiety, habits and phobias. There are many misconceptions about Hypnosis so I suggest you read my article which Is linked below, as well as my blog articles which can be found on this website. You can develop a greater understanding about hypnosis and the benefits of this alternative treatment.

Psychotherapy in the 21st Century: An Opportunity for Change

Although we are in the 21st century, psychotherapy remains an enigma to many people. As a result, some people refuse to try it. There are those who are fearful. Others doubt they can change. Some believe they should do it on their own. Whatever the reason, they might be missing out on an opportunity for learning to make healthier choices and live a more fulfilling life. I believe it is a journey that can bring change and growth in a way one might not have thought possible.

Now that you have a sense of who I am, give yourself the chance to get some relief. Call me and make an appointment. This will be your first step in the right direction.
